2024 Holiday Festival
This year's event supports SBL's Greatest Needs
Hospitals across the nation are looking to their communities and healthcare families to philanthropically support their greatest needs. At Sarah Bush Lincoln, that includes helping to offset programs that operate with a deficit as well as supporting our mission to provide exceptional care to all, regardless of our patients’ ability to pay.
Together, Behavioral Health Services (BHS), the Children’s Dental Program and Peace Meal Senior Nutrition operate on more than a $1.7 million deficit. BHS and our Dental Program provide care to thousands annually who are uninsured, while Peace Meal offers healthy meals to our most senior residents, many who can’t afford the $4 suggested donation per meal. Additionally, SBL provides more than $13 million annually in uncompensated care across the Health System.
Support of the 2024 Holiday Festival will not only help offset expenses of the above programs, but also the entire organization, including costs of caring for the uninsured in the Regional Cancer Center, Cardiology and Emergency Room, just to name a few.
SBL is committed to our patients. We care about our community and we’re here for our friends, family and neighbors, day and night. Thank you for partnering with us through this year’s Holiday Festival.

MEMORY STAR ORNAMENT
Celebrate the memory of a loved one or recognize a Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospice caregiver that was particularly kind while supporting an endowment for SBL’s Hospice House, Willow Breeze.
Christmas is a wonderful occasion to honor or thank someone. Purchasing a $40 Memory Star ornament or making a tribute gift also helps patients throughout our 20-county service area afford their stay at Willow Breeze. Most insurance companies pay for nursing care, but not room and board. Orders are due by Monday, November 18, 2024.
